All purpose construction adhesive glue can be used for granite slab installations although it is generally only used on the bottom layer of the slab to adhere the slab to the plywood decking for the countertop.

And we re talking about joining two pieces of countertop not two pieces of substrate.
It is the fastest easiest most efficient way to put two pieces of countertops together.

Be sure to press firmly on the tape to ensure it has adhered to the counter.
Granite installers set countertops in sections and use a two part epoxy or a polyester based adhesive to secure slabs that butt up to each other.
