I never do vinyl projects but offered to cut and now apply a vinyl decal to one of the powder coated series yetis.
I ve put decals on a couple of powder coated frames and they were just fine.

I can put on a coat of clear then the decals to make them stick better then a 2nd coat of clear over everything.
What about that heat transfer vinyl.

I certainly wouldn t try applying lacquer though.
When it is heated it needs something to melt into like fabric.

Ok i have done some research and saw a post saying that htv will not work on hard surfaces.
