Reach under the pedals seats and crevices around the car to pick up and dispose of all remaining dirt crumbs and trash from the floor of your vehicle. Vacuuming goes a long way to helping your mats stay free of dinginess. If you leave too much trash in your car when you began to wash the carpet you won t truly be cleaning all that much.

While you re waiting for the car s carpet to dry give your car mats a cleanup. Remove the floor mats and clean out any trash that may be littering your car s carpet. Dirt is bound to get ground in to a carpet that is walked on regularly even if you take your shoes off before doing so. Remove as much of the loose dirt and debris as possible.
