If you do use scissors slide them through the laminate don t open and close the blades.

So i just laminate the entire sheet then cut out my pieces.

So far i ve only had a few instances where the lamination pulled off of the paper after cutting them.
According to office zone if you sent your paper through when the machine was too hot sending it through the machine a second.
I haven t had my personal laminator long so i haven t experimented with laminating then cutting yet.
Place the object over a heating element covered with cloth and slowly lift the laminate with a razor or sharp edged knife.
